1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Tapd.ai application ("App") or website at tapd.ai ("Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TFI Connect Pvt Ltd ("Company", "we", "us", "our").
2. Definitions
- "Service" — The Tapd.ai mobile application, website, and all related features
- "User" — Any person who creates an account or uses the Service
- "Family Admin" — A User who manages health records for other family members
- "Dependent" — A family member whose health records are managed by a Family Admin
- "Health Data" — Prescription details, medicine records, lab test data, and ABHA records
- "AI Output" — Data extracted from prescriptions by our AI Vision system
- "Commerce Partners" — ONDC network pharmacies, 1mg, Thyrocare, Redcliffe Labs
3. Description of Service
Tapd.ai provides the following services:
- AI-assisted prescription reading and data extraction
- Family health record management
- Medicine dose reminders and adherence tracking
- Medicine ordering via ONDC network and direct pharmacy partners
- Lab test booking via Thyrocare and Redcliffe Labs
- ABHA account creation, linking, and health record submission via ABDM
- Subscription plans (Free, Pro, Pro Plus)
4. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account
- If you are adding a minor as a dependent, you must be their parent or legal guardian
- You must be a resident of India or managing health records for family members in India
- You must not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable Indian law
5. Accounts & Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- Notify us immediately at security@tapd.ai if you suspect unauthorised access
- One account per person. You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits
- As a Family Admin, you take responsibility for the accuracy of data entered for dependents
6. Medical Disclaimer
Tapd.ai is not a medical provider, hospital, clinic, or pharmacy. We are a technology service that assists with health record management.
- AI-extracted prescription data is assistance only — always verify with your doctor or pharmacist
- We are not responsible for errors in AI extraction — medicine details must be confirmed by a qualified professional
- We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations
- Do not make medical decisions based solely on AI Output from our service
- In a medical emergency, contact emergency services (112) immediately
- The "confirm before save" design is mandatory — you must review all extracted data before any action
7. User Responsibilities
- Review all AI-extracted data before confirming any order, booking, or record save
- Ensure prescription images uploaded are genuine medical prescriptions
- Obtain consent from family members before adding them to your family group
- Obtain parental consent before adding a minor dependent
- Maintain accurate family member profiles
- Not share your account credentials with others outside your family
- Report any inaccuracies or errors in AI extraction through the in-app feedback mechanism
8. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Service to:
- Upload fraudulent or forged prescriptions
- Order controlled substances without a valid prescription
- Process prescriptions for persons who are not your family members without their consent
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service
- Circumvent subscription limits by creating multiple accounts
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose under Indian law
- Transmit malware, spam, or malicious code
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
9. Subscriptions & Payments
9.1 Plans
- Free: No charge. Subject to scan and member limits.
- Pro: ₹149/month + 18% GST (₹175.82 incl. GST), or ₹999/year + GST
- Pro Plus: ₹249/month + 18% GST (₹293.82 incl. GST), or ₹1,799/year + GST
9.2 Billing
- Subscriptions are billed via Razorpay on the same date each month/year
- Prices are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise
- GST invoices will be provided for all paid transactions
- Annual plans are non-refundable after the 7-day cancellation window
9.3 Cancellation
- Cancel anytime from Settings → Subscription in the app
- Access continues until the end of the current billing period
- No partial refunds for unused time on monthly plans
- Annual plans: full refund if cancelled within 7 days of purchase; no refund thereafter
9.4 Commerce Transactions
- Medicine orders and lab bookings are transactions between you and the Commerce Partner (pharmacy, lab)
- We facilitate the transaction — we are not the seller of medicines or provider of lab services
- Refunds, returns, and complaints for orders must be directed to the Commerce Partner
- We guarantee price parity — your price via Tapd.ai will not exceed the Commerce Partner's direct price
10. Intellectual Property
- Tapd.ai, the app, and website are owned by TFI Connect Pvt Ltd
- Your health data belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of any health data you upload
- You grant us a limited licence to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service
- You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of the Service
11. Privacy
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please read it carefully.
12. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party services including ABDM (Government of India), ONDC network pharmacies, 1mg, Thyrocare, Redcliffe Labs, and Razorpay. Use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for the actions, availability, or policies of third-party services.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law:
- The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for errors in AI prescription extraction — you must verify with a qualified professional
- We are not liable for the actions of Commerce Partners (pharmacies, labs)
- We are not liable for any medical decisions made based on AI Output
- Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us in the 3 months preceding the claim
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or as prohibited by applicable law.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TFI Connect Pvt Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of any third party.
15. Termination
- You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account
- We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or non-payment
- On termination, your licence to use the Service ends immediately
- Provisions that survive termination: Medical Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law
16. Changes to Terms
We will notify you of material changes to these Terms via in-app notification and email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
17. Governing Law & Disputes
- These Terms are governed by the laws of India
- Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation
- If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India
- The Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and applicable consumer protection laws of India apply
